Samantha Hill


I am a Counselling Psychologist and I specialise in Psychological therapy for children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals, parents, couples and families and offer formulation and treatment for a full range of mental health & relationship issues. I believe in a whole person approach, which focuses on the brain, mind and the body, so that improvements in psychological well-being translate into physical vitality. I value flexibility and creativity, my overarching approach is working from a person-centred perspective. That is, working collaboratively with you to help you to meet your needs and achieve your goals. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches which include • Interpersonal process • EMDR Therapy • Schema Therapy • Mindfulness-based CBT & ACT • Neurobiological, Sensorimotor and Polyvagal approaches • Child focussed Play Therapy

My Experience

I trained in the UK, Ireland and Australia. I have experience working in a variety of settings including child protection, community mental health, women’s health and family services, and education settings. I have been working in private practice since 2019.
